The Indian Air Force (IAF) will close applications for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2025 today, December 31. Interested candidates who have not yet registered can apply on the official website, afcat.cdac.in.

The AFCAT 2025 exam is scheduled for February 22 and 23, to be held at various centers across the country. The exam aims to fill 336 departmental vacancies.

Application Fee

Applicants must first register on the official website and complete the application form, providing details such as educational qualifications, course preferences, and relevant documents. After submitting the form, candidates must pay the application fee of Rs 550. The fee can be paid via credit, debit, or net banking. Once payment is made, applicants can check their ‘Payment Status’. If the registration number appears, the application is successfully submitted.

Exam Pattern

The AFCAT 2025 exam will be conducted in two stages: an online test followed by an SSB interview by the Air Force Selection Board. Candidates applying for the Ground Duty (Technical Branch) may also need to take an additional Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT).

Here is the detailed exam pattern:

The IAF conducts AFCAT twice a year, in February and September, to recruit candidates for commissioned Class 1 gazetted officer positions in flying, ground duty (technical and non-technical), and meteorology for both permanent and short-service commissions.
