Disha Salian Death Case: Satish Salian, father of Disha Salian, former manager of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, has demanded a fresh investigation into Disha’s death. For which he appealed to the Bombay High Court on Wednesday. The appeal demands a demand for registering an FIR against Shiv Sena leader Aditya Thackeray and handing over the case to the CBI. Disha’s father has alleged that Disha was murdered after a gang rape.
Father admitted to suicide
It was reported that Disha Salian committed suicide by jumping from the 14th floor of a building in Malad on 8 June 2020. At that time, the Mumbai Police closed the investigation by registering it as an accidental death report (ADR). His family has admitted to suicide. But a few days after Disha’s death, on 14 June 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging from the noose in his Bandra apartment. Local police also described his death as suicide. However, the case was later handed over to the CBI.
Serious allegations against police
BJP leader Nitesh Rane had alleged that Disha was murdered after a gang rape three years ago. However, Disha had lodged a complaint against Nitesh at that time, accusing him of conspiring to discredit his daughter. Now Disha’s father has claimed in a new petition filed in the Bombay High Court that the police have put him under house arrest and forced him to accept the evidence offered by him. In the petition, Suraj Pancholi, Dino Moriya and Mumbai Police have also been made serious allegations.
Maharashtra’s politics heats up
The politics of Maharashtra has become hot after the petition of Disha’s father. Cabinet Minister Nitesh Rane has asked Aditya Thackeray to resign from the post of MLA. He has also demanded an inquiry against him. On the other hand, the Shiv Sena (UBT) has suspected the political conspiracy behind the sudden reopening of the case. Party spokesperson and former Mumbai mayor Kishori Pednekar said that there is a conspiracy behind reopening the case. After more than four years, the matter has become hot again. Earlier, the investigation of the case was handed over to the SIT.
Sanjay Raut accused BJP
Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut has told that he has seen a complete investigation of the police in this case. It was not a murder but an accident. Five years after the incident, his father appealed again. The whole state knows that this appeal is part of the dirty game of politics. His (Shiv Sena-BJP) political conspiracy has failed on Aurangzeb, so now he is raising the issue of Disha Salian. Apart from this, NCP (Sharad Pawar) has also accused the BJP of having a political conspiracy. NCP MLA Rohit Pawar said that if a person is trying to ask for justice for his daughter or woman, then we want him to get justice, but it is also necessary to know what had really happened. He died four years ago. And the BJP is doing politics on this issue.
