Adani Group will enter the Indian sports world of professional golf by organizing the ‘Adani Invitation Golf Championship 2025’ in collaboration with the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI), an official approval of professional golf. The purpose of this initiative of Adani Group is to establish and develop it as a mainstream game by making golf accessible and accessible to the general public, providing the necessary incentives to expand its access and prepare the next generation of the global champion from India.

 

The inaugural tournament of this championship of Rs 1.5 crore will be held from April 1 to April 4 at JP Greens Golf and Spa Resort in Greater Noida. With this, PGTI will return to this place after a long gap of 11 years. Golf pre-tournament program will be held in Ahmedabad

The pre-tournament program will be held on 29 March 2025 at Belwedier Golf and Country Club in Ahmedabad. Along with the event, five major PGTI professionals will host a golf clinic, in which 50 children of Adani International School will be introduced to the game. Kapil Dev, a great cricketer and current PGTI president of a time, will be present at the event, and will highlight the shared view of the Adani Group and PGTI to develop golf talents and pursue Indian golf. The partnership has expanded until the establishment of Adani-PGTI Joint Golf Training Academy at Belvadier Golf and Country Club in Ahmedabad. The initiative is in line with Adani’s commitment to the grassroots development and supports India’s dialect for hosting the 2036 Olympics, which reflects the broader goal of the Indian audience to fulfill the aspirations of the audience.
