Superstar Salman Khan is not taking chances. He is now beefing up security at his sea-facing apartment in Galaxy building in Bandra (W) by installing bullet proof glass panels to protect his balcony. He is also installing high-resolution CCTV cameras to keep a close tab on the street outside.
This move follows the revelation made by the crime branch that one of the reason why former minister and ex-MLA of Bandra Baba Siddique was gunned down by the dreaded Lawrence Bishnoi gang was his proximity to Salman Khan. After this disclosure made in the chargesheet in the Baba Siddique killing, the actor is making doubly sure that the Bishnoi gang is not able to target him.

On April 10 two members of the gang had opened fire at his residence when police security personnel were not around. Bishnoi wants the actor to apologise for gunning down black bucks in Rajasthan. The animals are revered by the Bishnoi community. However, Salman’s father Salim Khan had categorically rejected the demand for apology.
The bulletproof glass panels will ensure the actor’s safety when he steps onto the balcony of his flat at Galaxy Apartments to greet his fans, said the official. A razor wire fencing is also being installed around the building.
Navi Mumbai Police in June 2024 had claimed to have discovered a plot to kill the actor when he traveled to his farmhouse at Panvel near Mumbai.
Khan already enjoys 24-hour Y plus category police protection.
