Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The Nepalese domestic help an accused in the in the Silver Spring Colony theft case of Rs 1.5 crore fled in another car after abandoning the businessman’s car near Teen Imli Square. The police have shared footage of the accused across all routes leading to the Nepal border.
Additional DCP Alok Kumar Sharma said that they have alerted police of different districts and states and shared messages and footage to track down the thieves who robbed the residence of businessman Anees Mohammad. It has been found that the suspects used another car during the incident and efforts are underway to gather details about it.
Police are also suspicious about the story that the victim was served food laced with sedatives as no samples of sedatives were found in the house. The house staff Deepesh had been staying at the house since December 1. On the night of December 12, he called his associate, who arrived in a taxi. When the taxi was stopped at the colony gate by the security guard, Deepesh spoke to the guard and asked him to allow his associate.
The businessman’s brother said that during the theft, the accused’s conversation was captured on CCTVs in which the Nepalese staff was heard telling his associate to physically harm the victim but his associate denied to do so.
