In Etah and Kasganj districts, action has been started against the employees who got jobs in the Collectorate office by fraud 30 years ago. The administration has dismissed 24 employees, out of which 15 have already retired.

In a major action, the Uttar Pradesh government has dismissed 24 employees who got jobs fraudulently between 1993 and 1995 in the District Magistrate offices of Etah and Kasganj districts. All of them are accused of getting jobs through fake orders of the Revenue Council.

Fake appointment was made in 1995

It is said that in 1995, the then DM of Etah, Major RK Dubey, had received the order letter for the appointment of 24 people. Appointments were made on the basis of this order. After a few years, complaints came that these orders were fake. Subsequently an investigation was initiated and the Revenue Council clarified that no such order had been issued.

The matter was postponed by suppressing the files

In this case, an attempt was made to delay the case by suppressing the files for a long time, but when the complaint was filed again in 2019, a big revelation was made in the investigation. During investigation, it came to light that the employees who had got jobs fraudulently had lost important documents. SIT was formed after a thorough investigation by the DM. The SIT in its report found the involvement of 30 employees, of whom 19 had retired, while four were still employed. The government has also ordered to dismiss the retired employees and recover salaries and other benefits from them.
