Abir Gulal Banned: Fawad Khan received huge fees of 10 crores for Bollywood return, songs removed from YouTube

News India Live, Digital Desk: Pakistani actor Fawad Khan’s much awaited Bollywood return film ‘Abir Gulal’ has already got into trouble before its release due to controversies. The film has been completely banned after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. Along with this, the songs of the film have also been removed from YouTube.

According to the report, Fawad Khan has charged more than normal fees for his Bollywood comeback, about 5 to 10 crores. Significantly, Fawad Khan takes 15 to 20 lakh rupees for an episode in Pakistani TV dramas, while his fees for a Pakistani film are around Rs 2 crore. In such a situation, the fees charged for the Bollywood film ‘Abir Gulal’ are about five times more than his normal Pakistani film fees.

The controversy started as soon as the teaser of the film was released, in which Vani Kapoor was seen with Fawad Khan. After the teaser came, there was strong opposition on social media. In fact, India has been banned from working in films of Pakistani actors in films since about 9 years ago, due to which the public reacted sharply after seeing Fawad Khan in the teaser. Now after the Pahalgam terror attack, this dispute has reached its peak, due to which the release of the film has been stopped.
