Team India and Sunrisers Hyderabad batsman Abhishek Sharma switched T20 mode on while playing in Times Shield Match. The left hander looked in ease while smashing 60 runs in 22 balls. He launched some massive blows, all over the park with great ease. He hit both pacers and spinners with ease and once again showed the impact he can make with his willow.
Abhishek was at his brutal best as he slammed the joint-fastest T20 hundred during the Mushtaq Ali Trophy match. Playing against Meghalaya, Abhishek smoked a hundred off just 28 balls, equalling Gujarat’s Urvil Patel, who scored a 28-ball hundred against Tripura in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT). Besides century Abhishek hit 11 sixes during his knock and shattered Suryakumar Yadav’s record of the most T20 sixes in a calendar year by an Indian.
