Anjuman-I-Islam Allana English leg spinner Abdur Rahman Khan bagged six-wicket haul for 36 runs to help Matunga Premier School bowl out for 117 in 40.4 overs at Karnatak CC in the third Round of Super League of the 128th Harris Shield U-16 MSSA Cricket Tournament 2024-2025. Amandeep Singh Keerat scored 38 runs for the Matunga side.

In reply, Anjuman Allana batted well and took a first innings lead scoring 199-8 after 43 overs. Batter Arhaan Patel scored 58 and was ably supported by Prabhat Pandey 33 and Afzal Sheikh 33*. Left arm spinner Animesh Ghorpade snapped up 4/60 while medium pacer Aaryan Kumar picked a three wickets. At stumps on day 1, the Allana lead by 82 runs.

At ELF, Oval maidan, Anjuman-I-Islam Urdu (CSMT) were bowled out for a paltry 130 in 48.3 overs against Modern English School. Vinayak Chaurasiya was the only batter who showed resistance with 51 off 80 balls. In reply, chasing down the total, at stumps on day 1, Modern English were reduced to 94-6 after 32 overs. Vivaan Jobanputra stuck to his plan, foxing batters with his good line and length deliveries. In turn he was rewarded with a five-wicket haul.

General Education Academy continued good run by taking first innings lead against Al-Barkaat MMI English at Police Gymkhana. Al-Barkaat were bundled out for 119 in 33.3 overs. Medium pacer Abhishek Pandey picked (4/64) while left arm spinner Yuvraj Patil took (4/28). In reply, General Education Academy were 166-6 in 46 overs at the end of day one.

Dnyandeep Seva Mandal (Navi Mumbai) bundled out Parag English School (Bhandup) for 142 in 70.4 overs. Shrihaan Haridas scored 39, Atharv Kore made 38. Left arm spinner Zaid Khan picked 4/45 while off spinner Virat Yadav grabbed 3/42. Coming out to chase down the total, Dnyandeep were 69-2 at stumps on day one in 17.3 overs. Varadraj Desai scored 35.
