Gurdaspur: The counting of votes for the by-election of assembly constituency Dera Baba Nanak started this morning at the local Sukhjindra College. In these elections, there is a direct contest between Congress MP Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa’s wife Jatinder Kaur and Aam Aadmi Party’s Gurdeep Singh Randhawa. BJP has fielded Ravi Karan Singh Kahlon. This seat had become vacant due to the election of Congress MLA Sukhjinder Randhawa.
