Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, who will turn 60 on Friday (March 14), interacted with media and celebrated his birthday with them on Thursday afternoon in Mumbai. Several pictures and videos of the actor cutting a birthday cake and answering media queries have been doing the rounds on social media platforms.
During his pre-birthday celebration, Aamir also revealed that he is learning classical singing since the last two years. On media’s demand, he also sang a few lines of his popular songs.
In one of the videos, Aamir can be heard singing Raja Ko Rani Se Pyaar Ho Gaya, a song from his 1995 film Akele Hum Akele Tum. From the same film, he sang another song, Dil Kehta Hai Chal Unse Mil.
“I am learning new things every year, I have been learning Indian classical singing… I love singing. My guru is Sucheta Bhattacharjee, I am enjoying a lot,” the actor said.

While interacting with media, Aamir also opened up about his wish to work front actors and his close friends Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.
“We three (Aamir, Salman, Shah Rukh) want to do a film together, definitely, if any good story comes, we will definitely do,” he said.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Aamir’s next film Sitaare Zameen Par will release in December 2025. Directed by RS Prasanna, the film is a remake of Spanish film, Champions. A few days back, Aamir confirmed that the shooting of the film is going on.
Opening up about the film, Aamir said, “Sequel of Taare Zameen Par is coming up, it is 10 steps ahead, Taare Zameen Par made you cry, but this is humourous but makes a very good statement. We are announcing it tomorrow.”
He will also produce Lahore 1947, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, starring Preity Zinta, Sunny Deol and others.
