Rajkot: A bus carrying passengers from Porbandar to Rajkot suddenly caught fire near Supedi village on the Dhoraji-Porbandar highway in Rajkot district. During that time suddenly the bus caught fire. As soon as the fire broke out, the passengers sitting in the bus immediately came out and major damage was avoided. As soon as information about the fire was received, the fire department of Dhoraji Municipality immediately reached the spot and brought the fire under control within a few minutes.
According to the information, a bus coming to Rajkot suddenly caught fire near Supedi in Dhoraji of Rajkot district at around 4 pm today.
It is believed that the fire broke out due to a short circuit in the wiring of the bus, due to the promptness of the driver and the cleaner, major loss of life was avoided. More than 30 passengers were traveling in the bus, but as soon as the fire broke out, everyone got out to avoid major damage.
