Nagpur: A young man went to the farmhouse to celebrate his friend’s birthday and drowned while floating in a swimming pool. The deceased has been identified as Pranjal Rawale (age 22, resident of Chandramani Nagar). This unfortunate incident came to light at around 3 pm on Wednesday night.
According to the information received, Pranjal lived with his father and younger brother. He used to work with Wi-Fi. Since Wednesday was the birthday of his friend Teshik Maheshkar (28), he planned to party outside the farmhouse. On Tuesday night, a total of 12 friends went to a party at Golden Valley Farmhouse in Pandhurna under Wathoda police station. Around midnight, everyone celebrated by cutting the cake.
Pranjal could not oppose the temptation to swim in the swimming pool of the farmhouse during the party. Accordingly, he got into the water and started swimming. He suddenly drowned while swimming. Meanwhile, the coach saw him. With the help of other friends, he took out Pranjal and took him to the nearest hospital for treatment. However, he was asked to take him to the medical hospital due to his condition being critical. The doctors investigated him and declared him dead.
In this case, the Wathoda police have registered a case of accidental death on medical advice. The death of his son has raged a wave of mourning in the Rawale family.
Youth dies due to drowning in Morbe dam
Aniket Kisan Bhagat (age 20), a third year student at Pillai College in Rasani, drowned in the Morbe Dam. Aniket Bhagat, a student of Sukapur in Panvel, came to the area of Morbe Dam, who supplied water to the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation with his friends after his examination ended on Wednesday and being on leave from May 1. He went to the dam to swim and later drowned and died.
