A bomb threat has been received at the metro station of capital Lucknow. After this, security has been increased at every metro station in the capital. Police control room 112 received this information about the threat to blow up the metro station. As soon as the information about this was received, the police made strict security arrangements from Charbagh to Hazratganj.

On Friday, the police control room 112 of Lucknow received a threat to blow up the metro station. The caller threatened to blow up the Hazratganj metro station. Lucknow Police has given this information. The caller switched off the mobile after informing about the bomb blast. Heavy police security has been deployed at Metro stations and checking has been done.

 

 

After receiving the threat, bomb disposal squads have been deployed at some metro stations. Apart from this, heavy force including dog squad has been deployed at metro stations. A threat call was received at the police control room at 10:00 pm. The man who threatened said that a bomb had been placed at the station and would explode at 11:40 pm. On knowing about this, the police department started running.

After getting the information, ACP Hazratganj and several inspectors along with the bomb disposal squad reached Hazratganj metro station in Lucknow. If sources are to be believed, after receiving the threat, the police conducted a search operation at the metro stations till around 12:00 midnight. Apart from this, checking was also done with tight security. Meanwhile checking was also done at Charbagh metro station.

In this regard, Hazratganj ACP Arvind Kumar Verma told that last night a call was received in the police control room to blow up the Hazratganj metro station. The caller identified himself as Ramesh Shukla and said that there was a plan to blow up the station. A search operation was conducted at the entire metro station but the police could not find any bomb till late night. The investigation is still going on.
