Will gas cylinder be cheaper again on 1 June? Hope to reduce the prices of both domestic and commercial

Gas cylinder price update: On the first date of every month, oil marketing companies (OMCs) review the prices of LPG ie LPG cylinders. In the same sequence, on June 1, there may be a change in the prices of both domestic (14.2 kg) and commercial (19 kg) gas cylinders. There is speculation that prices can be cut for the purpose of giving relief to the public after the general elections.

Hope from previous cuttings:
It is worth noting that on the occasion of International Women’s Day (March 8), the central government gave relief to the common people by cutting a big cut in the prices of domestic LPG cylinder by Rs 100. Subsequently, the prices of commercial gas cylinders were reduced in April and May. For example, on May 1, the price of a 19 kg commercial cylinder declined by Rs 19 to Rs 1745.50 in Delhi. Earlier in April, its price was reduced by about 30 rupees. Given these previous cuts, it is expected that on June 1, common consumers and small businessmen can get good news.

What does the price depend on?
LPG cylinder prices mainly depend on the prices of crude oil and global demand-supply situation in the international market. However, the policies of the government also play an important role in controlling prices in the domestic market.

What can happen on 1 June?
If crude oil prices remain stable or softening in the international market, and the government also wants to give relief to consumers, then on June 1, the prices of both domestic and commercial cylinders may be low. However, the final decision will be taken only after reviewing the last day of the month by the oil marketing companies. Everyone’s eyes are on 1 June whether the oil companies will once again give relief to the people by cutting prices.
