In Jaunpur, fake hospitals and hazing doctors will fall! DM ultimatum, FIR and sealing after 25 May

Jaunpur (Uttar Pradesh): In Jaunpur district of Uttar Pradesh, the administration is now completely in action mode against hospitals running without registration and doctors with fake degrees. District Magistrate (DM) Dr. Dinesh Chandra has warned in strict words that after May 25, an FIR will be lodged against all such illegal hospitals and clinics and a special campaign will be launched to seal them. This decision was taken during an important meeting of the health governing body held in the Collectorate Auditorium, which the District Magistrate was chaired by himself. In this meeting, the prevention of communicable diseases, progress of knock campaign, quality of health services and status of basic medical facilities in the district were discussed in detail. The DM issued several important instructions to improve the arrangements at all places from Community Health Centers (CHC), Primary Health Centers (PHC) to private hospitals.

Registration is mandatory, otherwise strict action will be taken

The District Magistrate of Jaunpur has taken a very tough stand against fake hospitals running in the district and illegal medical services. According to the order issued, it will be mandatory to register all hospitals, nursing homes and clinics of the district by May 25. Strict legal action will be taken against those institutions which will be found without registration even after this fixed time frame.

Hospitals without registration will be sealed, doctors will also have the qualification of public

The DM has made it clear that such hospitals which will not register on the uphealth.in portal will be seized with immediate effect. Only 3 days have been given to complete the registration process. In addition, it has also been made mandatory that the name of the concerned doctor outside all hospitals and clinics should have a clear board of registration number and their educational qualification. Only registered and qualified doctors will be allowed to treat patients. Special teams will be formed under the leadership of Deputy District Officers (SDM) after May 25 on the instructions of DM, who will conduct surprise inspections and examine such hospitals and doctors.

Other important instructions given in the review meeting

In the health governing body meeting held in the Collectorate Auditorium, the DM also discussed several other important aspects related to health services. He reviewed the ongoing programs for the prevention of communicable diseases, the progress of the Dastak Abhiyan giving health information, the quality of government and private health services and the status of basic medical facilities reaching the common people. He directed to bring extensive improvement in arrangements at every level from CHC-PHC to private hospitals. The DM clarified that no negligence or fraud will be tolerated in the health system and those who do so will not be spared under any circumstances. This step of administration is an important effort to make health services better and safe in the district.
