In the country’s capital Delhi too, the government has issued an advisory in view of the possible threat of the Corona virus and has directed all hospitals to be fully prepared to deal with it.
It is a matter of concern that for the first time after a long gap of nearly three years in Delhi, new cases of Covid-19 have come up. According to various reports, in addition to Delhi, new cases of Kovid have been registered in many other states including Gujarat, Haryana, Kerala and Karnataka. In the advisory issued by the Health Department of the Delhi Government, all hospitals have been asked to be prepared to ensure adequate availability of beds, oxygen cylinders, essential medicines and vaccine to deal with any emergency.
Health Minister gave important information
Giving information on the situation, Health Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj in the Delhi government said that till Thursday, 23 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported in the capital. He said that the government is now collecting information that these patients are residents of Delhi or they recently went out of the city on a journey. According to the Health Minister, these positive cases have been reported by private laboratories, and there is no need to panic at the moment, but it is necessary to be vigilant.
He further said, “In this new variant also, symptoms have been seen as a normal influenza (flu), such as fever, cough, sore throat, etc. We have held an important meeting with the medical superintendents of all hospitals in Delhi. In this meeting, all the hospitals have been instructed to fulfill all the preparations to fight the covid-19, whether it is the availability of oxygen beds or the available beds, whether it is the available bed, the canal Oxygen concentrator. “
