West Champaran – The Jan Suraj Party has launched a major campaign against the alleged anti -people policies of the government across the state. The “one crore signature campaign” launched by the party’s founder Prashant Kishore was formally inaugurated by Kalyanbigaha (Nalanda), the ancestral village of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. On this occasion a press conference was organized by the West Champaran District Committee, in which the campaign outline was shared.
The party has accused the governments of Lalu Yadav, Nitish Kumar and Narendra Modi of betrayal, corruption and anti -people policies, calling this campaign a voice of the public.
District Organization General Secretary Sachindra Kumar Pandey, State Acting Committee member Ravindra Buddhist, and East Champaran district in -charge Raghavendra Pathak were present in the press conference.
Sachindra Pandey said that the campaign focuses on three major questions:
1. When will 94 lakh poor families get a assistance amount of Rs 2 lakh, which was identified in the ethnic census of 2023?
2. Why is the promise of giving 3 decimal land to 50 lakh landless Dalits and backward families so far?
3. When will the government overcome the alleged loot going on in processes like land survey, lineage, filing and disdest?
He said, it is not just to gather signature, but to bring the voice of the public to the government. “
The Jan Suraj Party has clarified that this campaign will be intensified in the coming months. Public meetings, public awareness programs and household contacts will be run under it.
According to the party, workers will play an active role in all the blocks of West Champaran district and this campaign will be taken to the ground level. Raghavendra Pathak said, we will take the failures of the government to every door.
This signature campaign of Jan Suraj is being seen as a sign of a new mass movement in the state’s politics.
