India’s all-party delegations: After India’s announcement of sending seven all -party delegations worldwide to reveal its stand against ‘border cross -border terrorism’, Pakistan is preparing to send a delegation led by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) President and former Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to advocate “peace” on the global stage.

India on Saturday announced that in the context of ‘Operation Sindoor’ and India’s ‘Battle on Border Terrorism’, seven all -party delegations would visit major partnership countries including members of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) later this month.

The statement of the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs said, “All-party delegation will put forward India’s national consent and firm attitude to combat terrorism in all forms and expressions. They will further the country’s strong message of zero-assessment against terrorism in front of the world.”

Subsequently, Bhutto Zardari said in a post on social media platform Facebook that Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif had asked him to lead a delegation to present a case of Pakistan for “peace” on the international stage.

Zardari wrote, “This morning Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif contacted me and requested me to lead a delegation, who should present the case of Pakistan for peace on the international stage.”

Seven all -party delegation of India

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju announced on Saturday that seven all -party delegations will visit major partnership countries, including members of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), in the context of Operation Sindoor and India’s ongoing fight against cross -border terrorism.

The MPs leading the seven delegations are: Congress leader Shashi Tharoor, BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad and Baijayant Panda, Sanjay Kumar Jha of JDU, Kanimozhi Karunanidhi of DMK, NCP (SP) leader Supriya Sule and Shiv Sena leader Srikanth Eknath Shinde.

India-Pakistan Tension

26 people were killed in a fierce terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. After this, India took several steps against Pakistan, including suspending the 1960 Indus Water Treaty. New Delhi also took several punitive steps against Islamabad.

Indian armed forces launched Operation Sindoor on 7 May, targeting terrorist structures in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Jammu and Kashmir (POJK). According to the ANI, after the airstrike, Pakistan opened fire from across the Line of Control (LoC) and JK across the border and attempted drone attacks in the border areas, after which India launched a coordinated attack and damaged radar infrastructure, communication centers and air areas in 11 airbases in Pakistan.
