Tech Update: WhatsApp’s new Windows app launched, now support of possible channels

News India Live, Digital Desk: Tech update: Whatsapp is updating the new version of its Windows beta app with new designs and many new features. Now, the new interface is similar to the WhatsApp web and the Mac version, making the experience on all platforms the same. With updates, users can now find channels and communities in different tabs, making it easier to follow and handle group interactions.

The channel, which was only for mobile and Mac users, is added to Windows Beta. Users have the ability to follow systematic channels in groups and see them in one place. The platform automatically keeps all the devices up-to-date, so if you follow a channel on your mobile, it will appear on your Windows device and vice versa.

Re -designed interface and tab system

Now there are different parts in the sidebar for channels and communities. Now, the channel is part of the ‘update’ tab, which combines them with status updates to make it easier to find the material. Now it is easy to manage communities as you can see all active group chats immediately.

Cross-platform sink and directory features

Whether you add channels to Windows, iOS or Android, they will automatically sink on all your devices. Users can use a directory to find new channels related to their interests, which helps them to stay connected with minimal effort. Updates are being released gradually through the Microsoft Store and will soon be available to more people.
