Wholesale inflation declines in April: After retail inflation reaches a six -year low, wholesale inflation has also reached a 13 -month low. Wholesale inflation was recorded at 0.85 percent in April due to a significant fall in petrol-diesel, electricity and raw material prices. Which was 2.05 percent in March. Which was 1.34 percent in April last year. Which was earlier 0.20 percent in March 2024.

The main factor behind the decline in wholesale inflation is the fall in fuel and raw material prices. However, there is no significant decline in the prices of manufacturing goods related to manufacturing.
