A chilling yet noteworthy incident from Haridwar, Uttarakhand, has captured the internet’s attention, showing a leopard attacking a street dog in the dead of night, only to be chased away by a pack of brave dogs later. The dramatic encounter, caught on CCTV reportedly around 2 AM on Monday, was shared online by journalist Sachin Gupta.

The footage showed the leopard entering a quiet street and launching a sudden attack on a sleeping dog, grabbing it by the neck in an attempt to kill it. The wildlife pounced on its prey and triggered the asleep dog, which tried its best to escape the clutches of its fierce attacker.

Before the wild cat could fatally harm or drag away its prey, several other street dogs came rushing in. The video recorded them bravely confronting the leopard head-on. Acting like true comrades or a friend in need, they fought back aggressively, forcing the leopard to exit the premises.
