Mumbai: Pictures of Pakistani actor Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan, who commented against India’s Operation Sent, have been removed from posters of their Bollywood films. Their thumbnail covers have been removed from the album.
Fawad Khan acted in the film ‘Kapoor and Sons’ and Mahira Khan in the film ‘Raees’. During the ongoing dispute between India and Pakistan, he made derogatory remarks against the Government of India and the Indian Army. Due to such misconduct, his pictures have been removed from the posters of songs on music apps. A few days ago, Mavra Hussain was also removed from ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’ album cover. However, pictures of Fawad Khan have not yet been removed from the poster of Sonam Kapoor’s film ‘Beautiful’.
Both Mahira Khan and Shah Rukh Khan appeared on the poster of ‘Raees’. But only Shahrukh is seen. Videos of some songs of ‘Kapoor and Sons’, which were shot on Fawad Khan, have also been removed. It is likely that more photos of Pakistani artists will be removed in the coming days.
