The stock market saw a major decline on Tuesday. At 9.30 am, the BSE Sensex fell by 701.87 points and the Sensex closed at 81,728.03 points. After this, the Sensex declined by about 900 points. The NSE Nifty 50 declined by 200 points. The Nifty fell to close to 24,700 points. Infosys shares fell by about 2 percent. Many other companies also failed in this.

Big jump a day before

Earlier on Monday, the ceasefire between India and Pakistan had a direct impact on the Indian stock market. The Sensex reached a historic altitude of 2975.43 points. It closed at the seven -month highest level at 82,429.90. NSE Nifty increased 916.70 points. The Nifty rose by 3.82 percent to close at 24,924.70 points. The market has given good indications due to low trade disputes between China and America. On Monday, IT, metal and other shares saw a huge rise. Investors bought shares. Earlier, both indices recorded their highest growth on 3 June 2024, a day before the Lok Sabha election results last year. At that time the Sensex rose 2,507.45 points. The Nifty rose by 733.20 points.

Foreign investors promoted

According to Vinod Nair, Research Chief of Geojit Investment Limited, the greatest speed in the last few days has come due to positive geopolitical and economic events. Foreign institutional investors promoted the Indian market well. The market started a boom due to the large -scale stock purchases.

Research Deputy Chief Ajit Mishra of Railways Broking Limited said that the results of the positive policy regarding the US-China trade agreement have been revealed. This increased investment in the stock market. The trust of investors strengthened. Both America and China have banned 90 days on imposing additional charges on each other. The US has agreed to reduce the tariff on Chinese goods from 145 percent to 30 percent. China announced that it would reduce tariffs on American goods from 125 percent to 10 percent.
