Made in India: This ‘Made in India’ scooter is beating Activa and Jupiter in foreign markets,

News India Live, Digital Desk: Made in India , Honda Activa and TVS Jupiter may be the best -selling scooters in India, but when it comes to export of ‘Made in India’ scooter abroad, both these brands of these company go beyond them. A new update of one of these scooters is now coming.

This scooter is TVS NTorq, which exported 64,988 units in the financial year 2024-25. While 41,026 units of Honda Activa and 19,504 units of TVS Jupiter have been exported during this period. Now the company is going to bring a big change in TVS Entork.

TVS NTorq’s engine will change

TVS has been selling scooters under the Entark brand for the last 7 years. Under this brand, the company first launched a 125cc scooter. In the market, it competes with scooters like Activa 125, Jupiter 125, Access 125, Bergman Street 125 and Yamaha Razor 125.

Now the demand for performance vehicles of 150cc and 160cc engines in the scooter segment is increasing. Keeping this in mind, now TVS is reported to have brought a 150 cc scooter under the Entark brand.

Prior to the festive season, TVS is planning to bring a lower version of its electric scooter Icube. According to media reports, the company can introduce its 150 cc TVS Entork Scooter around it. In the market, it will compete with Yamaha Aerox 155 and Hero Xoom 160.

This specialty will be in the new scooter

TVS is currently focusing on developing a liquid cooled engine below 300 cc capacity, as the engine it has in this category is mostly air -cooled. In such a situation, the company can launch a new scooter with this new engine. In this scooter, the new -age instrument console, split seat, large alloy wheel etc. can be found.
