Prime Minister Modi gave a strong message to Pakistan

In his address to the nation on 12 May, Prime Minister Modi credited the Indian Army for destroying the terrorist bases of Pakistan in Operation Sindoor and announced, “I want to tell the world community that if there is a conversation with Pakistan, it will be on terrorism.”

For the first time, three conditions for Pakistan have been clearly fixed for any kind of contact with the Government of India in the future. Prime Minister Modi, who is dreaming of third party mediation on other issues including Kashmir, has bluntly told Pakistan that India’s view is absolutely clear. Terrorism and business cannot live together, such as water and blood cannot flow together. It is clear that the dialogue is a distant possibility, and the currently postponed trade will not begin.
