Kim Seokjin, aka Jin, is back! And this time, he’s pulling at heartstrings. As he prepares to re-enter the spotlight with his second solo album ‘Echo’, the BTS vocalist has unveiled the first look at his upcoming single ‘Don’t Say You Love Me’, and it’s anything but lighthearted.

The fresh teaser posters, released on May 13 by Big Hit Music, offer a glimpse into what seems to be a deeply emotional and cinematic journey of love nearing its end.

Check out the poster:

From boyfriend mode to breakup blues

In the newly revealed visuals, Jin appears in two contrasting emotional states. One of the first posters shows him seated quietly on a chair, head resting on his hands, his expression filled with longing and solitude, an image that perfectly sets the melancholic tone for the track.

Another frame captures a tense confrontation with his on-screen partner, paired with the poignant lines “Mixed eyes and tangled hearts” and “A man left alone at the place where the love has left; will we be able to love again?”

The following set of images further explores this emotional narrative, shifting from soft, romantic moments to raw depictions of heartbreak. In one visual, Jin is seen running hand in hand with his lover, while another captures the loneliness after love fades. The captions read, “At the end of love, you just gotta let me go,” and “The story of us who were once affectionate.”

Fans are already bracing themselves for an emotionally dense music video that promises to be as cinematic as it is heartfelt.

‘Echoes’ of a new beginning

Jin’s upcoming album Echo, releasing on May 16, 2025, marks a significant chapter in his post-military career. Following the success of his first solo album, Happy Last Year, Echo will delve into deeper themes of emotional complexity, with Don’t Say You Love Me setting the tone.

According to earlier statements, the song explores a love story approaching its inevitable end, a narrative that resonates with the introspective maturity Jin has developed over the years.

The album will feature seven tracks, with Yena making a guest appearance on one of them, adding another layer of intrigue for listeners.

Jin’s World Tour 2025

In addition to his album drop, Jin is also gearing up for his first-ever solo world tour. Titled RunSeoKjin Ep. Tour, the journey kicks off on June 28 in Goyang, South Korea, and will soon travel across the globe, including stops in Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands.
