How far can you let AI influence you? While people are using artificial intelligence to set their wardrobe, dive into makeup and beauty hacks, and also seek mental health help, a woman interacted with ChatGPT about her marital relationship.
In her chat, the OpenAI tool suggested her husband was cheating on her. ChatGPT mentioned her Greek husband was having an affair or fantasising another woman.
This started when the woman reportedly engaged in a social media trend where the tool would analyse coffee grounds to predict the future. After making the drink and submitting photos, ChatGPT sensed the man was having an affair, prompting her to take shocking action.
Husband dismisses claim
When the woman confronted the husband and shared ChatGPT’s responses with him, his reaction was obvious. He dismissed the AI’s claim as “Nonsense”, but the lady chose to not believe him but artificial intelligence.
According to reports, ChatGPT felt like the husband had feelings for another woman and was fantasising her. The tool pointed out the woman’s name began with an “E”, noting the man was destined to start a relationship with her. Additionally, the AI wrote that he was already having an affair with her.
Wife seeks divorce
These chat responses made the woman to take a big decision. She called for divorce.
The couple is now involved in a legal battle, with the husband’s lawyer arguing against the divorce because claims made by AI aren’t legally valid.
