Air India and indigo cancel flights: After the terrorist attack in India’s Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian Army destroyed terrorist camps in Pakistan and PoK under Operation Sindoor, in which more than 100 terrorists were killed. Following this action, the Pakistani Army made several unsuccessful attempts to attack India with drones and missiles, in response to which the Indian Army destroyed many Pakistani air conditions. Both countries are now ready for the ceasefire, after which the airspace of India is also being opened gradually. However, on midnight of May 12 and on the morning of May 13, Air India canceled several flights to eight major cities. It is being said that this decision has been taken due to security reasons.

Many flights of Air India canceled

Flights were canceled to Jammu, Leh, Jodhpur, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Rajkot, Jamnagar and Bhuj airports. Air India has said through a post on X that the decision to cancel the flight has been taken due to security reasons. Passengers from these cities have been issued advice to check the flight before the journey and seek assistance from the airline company for re -booking or refund.

Indigo also announced

On the other hand, IndiGo has canceled all flights to Jammu, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Leh, Srinagar and Rajkot on 13 May. IndiGo has said on social media that it has been decided to cancel the flight due to security reasons in view of the current situation. Passengers should check the updated information of the flight before reaching the airport.

It is noteworthy that a total of 32 airports closed due to conflict with Pakistan have been reopened to passengers.
