Government Fast Track Satellite Project: India no longer wants to take any risk after differences with Pakistan. Therefore, India has carried forward its space-based monitoring-3 program rapidly. According to a report by Mint, the Government of India has also selected three private companies for this, which will develop a satellite with ISRO. For this, infinite technologies, central electronics and alpha design technologies have been selected.

What is a space -based surveillance program?

The government will send 52 satellites to space. All these satellites will monitor Pakistan and China. What they are doing on the border and if there is any problem due to them, it can be monitored in advance. Along with this, these satellites can also prove to be very helpful in natural disasters.

When will these satellites be ready?

The project was initially planned to be completed in four years, but now it has been asked to complete in 12-18 months. Therefore, all satellites will be ready by the end of 2026. Currently a satellite is being developed by Anant Technologies and will be launched this year. These satellites will be sent to space through the joint missions being run with ISRO’s launch vehicle Mark-3 or Alan Musk’s spacex. The Ministry of Defense had ordered these advanced satellites even before the operation began by Operation Sindoor.
