Scientists from the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) are working on developing a human -rich robot, which will be able to join the military missions of the front row.
Fierce road accident in Raipur: 13 lives were killed in a collision between freight and trailer
According to a DRDO official, the DRDO’s major laboratory, research and development establishment (engineers), is developing a human -rich robot that can directly perform complex work under human order, so that the military casualties can be avoided by sending such robots in place of soldiers in dangerous situations. SE, Group Director, Center for System and Technology for Advanced Robotics, Research and Development Establishment (Engineers). Tallole said that the team has been working on the project for four years.
We have developed individual prototypes for the upper and lower body and successfully achieved specific functions during internal tests. This human device will also be able to work on a difficult terrain like forest. The robot was recently displayed at the National Workshop on Advanced Legged Robotics held in Pune. Currently in its advanced development phase, the team is focusing on improving the robot’s ability to understand and execute the orders of the operator. This system depends on three main components: actors that generate the same speed as human muscles, sensors that collect real -time figures from the surrounding environment, and control systems that guide the tasks by interpreting this information. One of the biggest challenges is to ensure that the robot can easily do the desired task, which requires balance, acute data processing and skill in execution at the ground level.
