Claims to become ‘popular government’ in Manipur soon, BJP MP told the deadline

The state of Manipur has been in a crisis of violence for the past several months. Violent incidents continue in many districts of the state. Meanwhile, President’s rule is in force in the state. In such a situation, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Rajya Sabha MP Lesamba Sanazoba has given an important statement about the formation of government in Manipur. He has expressed hope that in the next one or two months a popular government will be formed in the state and expressed all political expectations and appealed to political leaders to unite and face challenges.

President’s rule is no solution

Speaking to reporters during an event, Sanajoba said, “I firmly believe that a popular government will be formed in Manipur in the next one or two months. Only President’s rule cannot solve problems. A popular government can do better work by connecting with people and understanding their needs.”

Criticism on the failure of legislators

BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP sharply criticized the state MLAs and said that during the crisis, the MLAs failed to work collectively and decisively. He agreed with this criticism, saying, “MLAs have failed to work united in times of crisis. This failure has proved harmful to the interests of the state.”

Priority

Sanjaoba further said, “We have given more importance to personal ambitions than the interests of the state. President’s rule had to be imposed because we gave priority to power and selfishness rather than the welfare of Manipur.” He has appealed to political leaders to unite to face the challenges faced.

Current state of state

The ongoing violence in Manipur for the last one year has greatly damaged the state’s peace and stability. People’s lives have been affected by violent incidents in many districts. In such a situation, this statement of Sanazoba arouses new hope among the people of the state that peace and stability will soon be restored in the state.
