Meanwhile, the Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) has shared the details of the entire incident of the last four days. Pakistan retaliated after India’s major attack on terrorist bases on the night of 6-7 May under Operation Sindoor. On this, India retaliated on Pakistan on 9 May and also carried out heavily on 10 May. After India’s severe counter -attack, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke to Pakistan’s Army Chief Asim Munir over the phone. In which Pakistani DGMO spoke of a ceasefire. A few hours later, US President Donald Trump also announced a ceasefire between India and Pakistan. However, soon after this tweet, the Ministry of External Affairs held a press conference and informed the country about the ceasefire.

The DGMO said that our aim was to target only terrorists. He said that there were nine camps from which you are all familiar with. This has been confirmed by our various intelligence agencies. Some of these were in PoK, while some were in Punjab province of Punjab. He said that places like Lashkar-e-Taiba’s hideout Muridka have been flourishing for notorious terrorists like Ajmal Kasab and David Headley for years.
