It has also called for reducing military conflict through peaceful talks. The G-7 countries have issued a statement in view of the increasing tension between two nuclear power countries. The G-7 includes Canada, France, Italy, Germany, Japan, Britain, United States and European Union.

There was a terrorist attack on 22 April 2025 in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. 28 innocent citizens were killed in this attack.
