More than 16 lakh applications were received for this scheme. Minister Pongulati Srinivas Reddy recently told this to the media. After the intensive investigation process, the selected beneficiaries will start receiving loan approval letters at the division level between June 2 to June 9. Interviews with applicants are also being conducted during this review.

However, applicants will have to meet some eligibility criteria including good CIBIL score. During the interview conducted for loan acceptance, questions can be asked about the unit you are planning to establish. The beneficiaries will be identified and checks will be distributed only after this interview. There are reports that the beneficiaries will be selected in the MPDO office. However, all this is done under the supervision of the District Collector. However, the government did not say that it would announce the beneficiaries in advance. Therefore, the government will release the details of the beneficiaries till Telangana Foundation Day on 2 June.
After the distribution of loan acceptance letters, a week -long training program is conducted for selected beneficiaries, according to the specific types of self -employment unit to be established by them. The purpose of this training is to provide them the skills that they will need in their new business.
