Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company (MP Transco) has introduced new features on its official website to enhance online services for its pensioners and their dependents. A major addition is the launch of the Digital Life Certificate (Jeevan Pramaan Patra) facility, which pensioners can now access from anywhere in the world.

MP Transco’s Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Mukul Mahrotra, stated that the earlier requirement for pensioners or their dependents to visit MP Transco offices for submitting life certificates has already been relaxed. With the new update, the Digital Life Certificate service is now seamlessly available on the website.

Pensioners can also check the status of their pension and view the validity of their current life certificate online. This feature will help them ensure timely submission of the Digital Life Certificate.

In addition to this, the website now offers a dedicated tab where pensioners can:

View and download their pension slips

Access and download Income Tax Form-16

Currently, pensions and family pensions of retired MP Transco employees are disbursed through Union Bank of India, with services linked for 4,285 pensioners. The system is expected to be integrated with other banks in the future as well.
