News India Live, Digital Desk: Rajasthan on High Alert: High alert has been issued across the country including Rajasthan due to the increasing stressful situation between India and Pakistan. State Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma presided over a high -level meeting on Thursday in view of the seriousness of the situation. In the meeting, it has been decided to cancel the holidays of all the employees of the state government with immediate effect.
Earlier, the holidays of policemen of the border areas were canceled only, but in view of the increasing tension, all government employees have now been instructed to be present at the headquarters.
Special Watch Zone declared:
In view of drone activities and blackout incidents from Pakistan, the Rajasthan government has declared Jaisalmer, Barmer, Sriganganagar and Bikaner districts as ‘Special Watch Zone’. Police, Border Security Force (BSF) and administration have been instructed to monitor 24 hours in these areas.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma’s appeal:
Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma appealed to the public to maintain peace and ignore any kind of rumor. He said, “The state government, central government and army are working in continuous coordination. Security of citizens is our top priority.”
Hospital and disaster management also high alert:
The state government has also put hospitals, ambulance network and disaster management teams on high alert in view of the possible emergency. Medical and emergency services of all border districts have been instructed to be prepared with full vigilance.
