Bangra Fry is a popular dish in Maharashtrian cuisine. It is a traditional and very tasty seafood of Konkan. Mackeryl is a highly nutritious fish and is abundant omega-3 fatty acids. It is soaked in spices, roasted and served on the pan until crisp.
The weekend is approaching. So, if you are planning to cook non-veg at home, then this recipe is perfect for you. You do not need any special material to make Bangda Fry. This requires homemade spices, which make this dish even more delicious. Apart from this, it will not take much time to you. So let’s learn the material and method required to make Bangra Fry.
Material:
- Bangles – 4
- Turmeric – 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chili powder – 1.5 tbsp
- Ginger-garlic paste-1 tbsp
- Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
- salt to taste
- Semolina – 2 tablespoons (for coating)
- Rice flour – 1 tbsp
- Oil – to fry
Action:
- For this, wash the bangles and remove the dirt from them.
- After this, apply 2-3 deep cuts on the bangle.
- Now make a thick paste by mixing turmeric, red chili powder, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice and salt in a bowl.
- Apply this paste on bangles and leave it for at least 30 minutes, this will allow all the spices to the bangles, which will make the taste even better.
- Now mix semolina and rice flour and keep it in a plate.
- Then wrap the marinated bungalow well in a semolina-rice solution.
- Heat the oil in a non-stick pan and fry the bangles from both sides on medium flame.
- Fry the bungalow from both sides until it becomes crisp well.
- Serve hot with Bangla fry bread, Varan Bhat or Solcadi.
