Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag has reacted a major reaction to Rohit Sharma’s sudden Test retirement. Sehwag said, “This is a surprising decision. When Rohit was out of the last Test on the tour of Australia, he said that I was not going anywhere. But perhaps he has taken this decision after a conversation with the selectors. I think the selectors would have told him clearly about his plans, after which he thought it appropriate to retire.”
Virender Sehwag further said, “Rohit Sharma has performed brilliantly throughout his career. He could easily play 100 Test matches, but he has decided carefully. His batting has always entertained fans, and his records are also great.”
