This yoga process suggested by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, is known as “Breath, Stretch and Transform”. In simple words, it is a yoga technique of breathing process, pulling the muscles of the body and bringing positive changes in its personality.

What is the Common Yoga Protocol (CYP)?

Under the Common Yoga Protocol, easy techniques of yoga, pranayama and meditation are used. This brings flexibility in the body, increases concentration and provides inner peace. CYP includes exercises such as drawing, breathing and exhaling, and meditation. These exercises can be done by standing or sitting in both ways.

4 main stage of Common Yoga Protocol:

According to the Ministry of AYUSH, the Common Yoga Protocol consists of four main stages:

  1. Bending back and back and stretch: This phase increases the flexibility of the body.
  2. Right and left bending and stretch: Strengthens parts of the body.
  3. Rotate right and left neck, head and body: For strengthening and fracture of the neck and back.
  4. To rotate the neck around: To remove the tightness of the neck and shoulders.
