A special pooja was held at the iconic Shree Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai to mark the success of Operation Sindoor, a retaliation mission recently conducted by Indian forces
The prayers followed a recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, where pilgrims were targeted, symbolically described as an attack on the sindoor, thus inspiring the name “Operation Sindoor.”
The prayer ceremony was led by the temple’s treasurer, Acharya Pawan Tripathi, who invoked divine blessings for peace and victory against terrorism
Acharya Tripathi described Lord Shri Siddhivinayak (Lord Ganesha) as the “remover of obstacles,” linking this divine attribute to India’s fight against terrorism
This pooja at Siddhivinayak temple was held as a gratitude for the success of the Indian military’s successful strikes on terror infrastructure in Pakistan
Acharya Tripathi praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that he immediately resolved to eliminate terrorism completely following the Pahalgam incident, positioning him as a driving force behind the swift and decisive military response
The temple pooja reflected a larger national sentiment, with citizens and spiritual leaders uniting in support of the armed forces
