Operation Sindoor: India has once again made an accurate and decisive attack on terrorist bases in Pakistan. Under ‘Operation Sindoor’, the Indian Army carried out air strikes on 9 terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK), in which the madrasa of the infamous terrorist Masood Azhar in Bahawalpur was completely destroyed. This action has created fear in the minds of the terrorists and the media and citizens of Pakistan have also been shaken.

Raids started at midnight

India started ‘Operation Sindoor’ at 1.30 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday. In this highly confidential and planned operation, the Indian Air Force and the Army fired missiles at terrorist locations in Bahawalpur, Kotli and Muzaffarabad together. The biggest attack in this operation took place in Bahawalpur, where the madrasa of Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar was targeted. Four missiles were fired on the building, causing a fire throughout the area and the madrasa became frozen.

Pakistani media confirms, panic in public

After the attack, a local TV channel in Pakistan confirmed the incident, saying that scenes like ‘Sholay started ringing, Akash Lal-Lal Gaya…’ were seen in the area. The Pakistani Army and Security Force immediately rushed to the spot, but their representatives have also admitted that the madrasa has been completely destroyed.

It has also been reported that a minor boy died and four people were injured in this attack. Roads have been closed in the area and traffic has been banned. After the attack, other madrasas of Bahawalpur have been evacuated and panic has spread among the citizens on the roads.

Maulana Masood Azhar, face of terrorism

Masood Azhar is the head of the banned terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed. This organization was behind the Pulwama attack in 2019, in which 40 Indian soldiers were martyred. Similarly, it has also been clarified that Masood Azhar Pathankot was also involved in the attack on the airbase. In 1999, the Indian Airlines flight number IC-814 was kidnapped and taken to Kandahar. At that time, the Government of India had to release Masood Azhar on the condition of releasing three terrorists. He then returned to Pakistan and started a series of terrorist activities.

Global terrorist declared

In 2019, the United Nations declared Masood Azhar a ‘global terrorist’. India had been trying to ban him for many years. The Pakistani government was giving him protection, but was eventually declared a terrorist due to international pressure.

India’s clear message: Terrorism will not be tolerated

Through ‘Operation Sindoor’, India has once again proved that it will take decisive action against terrorism and its supporters and no boundary will be a hindrance for it. By taking action at the base of top terrorist like Masood Azhar, India has given a clear message to Pakistan and the world that now terrorism will be directly and decisive.
