After the terrorist attack on April 22 in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, India has started preparing for the war against Pakistan. On May 7, on the instructions of the Ministry of Home Affairs, a civil defense mock drill will be organized in 244 districts across the country, for which an important meeting was held today (Tuesday). This is the first such practice after 1971. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has met the three army chiefs in the last 7 days and discussed preparations and possible action plans. Regarding the Pahalgam attack, the Prime Minister has said that the conspirators will get a big punishment from their imagination.

 

High level meeting in Ministry of Home Affairs

The Home Secretary is meeting with representatives of 244 civil security districts. This meeting is very important and has been held in the North Block under the chairmanship of Home Secretary Govind Mohan. It has become clear from the presence of the Chief Secretaries and senior officials of the states in the meeting that it is a national level coordinated attempt related to security and disaster management. This meeting is being considered a major step towards testing and reform of the country’s security and disaster management capabilities.

The main objective of today’s Home Secretary meeting is to ensure preparation and coordination for mock drills to be held tomorrow (Wednesday).

Prime Minister held extensive discussion with military heads

Prime Minister Modi wants to understand every fact in detail before taking possible action against terrorists in Pakistan. According to sources, Prime Minister Modi has also discussed his preparations and arms and ammunition status with the three armies. The three armies have been informed about their military preparations and the mock drill to be held tomorrow is also an important part of this scheme.
