Fear of Pakistan: There is a tense situation between India and Pakistan after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April. On the other hand, Pakistan is constantly fearing an attack from India and they are repeatedly saying that India can attack anytime. Now recently, Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khwaja Asif said that India can make a military attack on LOC anytime.
India can attack LoC at any place
According to a report, while talking to reporters in Islamabad, Khwaja Asif said, “There is news that India can attack any point on LoC.” Pakistan will be given a befitting reply. Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has demanded an international inquiry into the Pahalgam attack.
India’s fear in Pakistan
Khwaja Asif further said, “This investigation will reveal whether India itself was involved in this attack or the truth behind the inner group and the baseless allegations of New Delhi.” This is not the first time that a Pakistani minister has said that India can take military action after the Pahalgam attack. Earlier, the country’s Information Minister Atta Tarar also said last week that the next 24-36 hours are important due to the threat of a possible attack by India. However, that time has passed and no such action has been initiated.
Tension between India and Pakistan at the peak after the Pahalgam attack
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir on Monday reiterated the commitment to respond with full force to protect the country’s reputation and the prosperity of his people. On 22 April, 26 people including 25 tourists were killed in the Pahalgam attack. Since then, tension between India and Pakistan has been at its peak. There is a demand to give a befitting reply to Pakistan in India. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Home Affairs of India has written a letter to all the states and ordered a mock drill on 7 May 2025.
