Metro race will be in the tunnel
For the first time underground metro service is going to start in Agra city. About 7 km part will pass through underground tunnels under the Agra Metro Corridor. These tunnels will connect the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and the busiest areas of the old city. The tunnel construction work is being done rapidly with the help of modern techniques and tunnel boring machines (TBM).
Four new underground stations will be ready
Four new underground metro stations are being prepared under this project. These include Taj Mahal station, Agra Fort Station, Jama Masjid Station and Medical College Station. These stations will be equipped with state -of -the -art facilities, where there will be a comfortable and safe journey for the passengers.
The work of laying the track fast
Rapid tracks are being laid for Agra Metro. According to officials, a target has been set to complete this work before the scheduled time. The work of the part of the metro running above the ground is also almost complete. In the coming months, citizens of Agra will be able to travel to metro in their city for the first time.
