Tension between India and Pakistan is increasing after the Pahalgam attack , In such a situation, a meeting of the United Nations Security Council was held in a closed room after Pakistan’s request. However, Pakistan has suffered a major setback due to no concrete results after the meeting. No official resolution was passed in the meeting that lasted for an hour and a half. Not only this, no official statement was released after the meeting. After which Pakistan has once again faced embarrassment internationally. However, the Pakistani representative claims that this meeting is a big deal!

The security council meeting demanded a fair inquiry into the Pahalgam attack. Not only this, Pakistan accused India of unilateral action and aggression. Pakistan sheds tears of crocodiles against other countries and said that we do not want struggle, but are ready to protect regional integrity. Pakistan also raised the issue of Indus Treaty and Kashmir in this meeting.

Military conflict can lead to uncontrolled: United Nations

Pakistan is repeatedly threatening war and atomic bombs. In such a situation, United Nations Secretary -General Antonio Guterres has expressed concern. He has advised both countries not to join the military conflict. Guterres appealed to India and Pakistan to exercise restraint, saying that ‘tension between India and Pakistan is again at its peak after many years’. I condemn the Pahalgam attack. Attacks on citizens should never be tolerated. Criminals should be legally punished. At this important time, both countries need to avoid especially military conflicts. The situation may be out of control due to military conflict. This has been my constant message in my conversation with both countries. There is no doubt that military conflict is not a solution. Any initiative to reduce stress will be supported by the United Nations.
