News India Live, Digital Desk: Major resuffle in uttar pradesh police administration: The round of transfer of officers in the Uttar Pradesh police administration is still going on. Recently, the state government has transferred 14 IPS officers, reshuffling largely. This change also includes SPs of Ayodhya, Gorakhpur, Etawah, Kaushambi, Muzaffarnagar, Fatehpur and Santakbirnagar.
SP converted to seven districts
The new list of this transfer includes Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of the major districts. SSP Raj Karan Nayyar of Ayodhya has been transferred to Gorakhpur, while SSP Sandeep Kumar Meena of Gorakhpur was sent to Santakbirnagar. At the same time, Lakshmi Niwas Mishra has been removed from the prevention of corruption organization and new SPs of Gorakhpur have been made.
Senior Superintendent of Police of Etawah Sanjay Kumar will now take over the command of Muzaffarnagar. The transfer of SP Brijesh Kumar Srivastava of Kaushambi has been transferred to Etawah. Rajesh Kumar, who was holding the post of Deputy Commissioner of Police at Ghaziabad Police Commissionerate, will now be the new SP of Kaushambi. SP Dhawal Jaiswal of Fatehpur will now be posted as Deputy Commissioner of Ghaziabad Police. The SP of Santakbirnagar has been made the Deputy Commissioner of Police.
Transfer of Kumbh Mela DIG also
Mahakumbh Mela Prayagraj’s DIG Vaibhav Krishna has been transferred to Varanasi. At the same time, IPS Mohit Gupta posted as IG in Varanasi will now serve the post of Secretary (Home) UP Government in Lucknow.
Other important transfers
DIG Ajay Kumar Sahni of Saharanpur will now serve in Bareilly, while Abhishek Singh of Muzaffarnagar will be the new Police Deputy Inspector General of Saharanpur. Lucknow’s 35th Corps PAC Anup Kumar Singh has been made Fatehpur SP.
