News India Live, Digital Desk: “Artificial Ang/Accessories Scheme” is being operated in Agra district of Uttar Pradesh for empowerment of disabled people. Under this scheme, online applications have been sought from eligible disabled people. Giving information, District Disabled Empowerment Officer Gyan Devi said that under the scheme, equipment like TRAI cycle, wheelchair, crutches, blind stick, walking stick, hearing machine, braille kit, smart can, smart phone, tablet, artificial arms and special shoes will be provided free of cost.
Online application process
To take advantage of the scheme, the disabled people have to visit the official website of the department https://divyangjanup.upsdc.gov.in. While applying online, a scan copy of the necessary documents will have to be uploaded. After completing the application process, it is necessary to submit a hard copy of the documents to the office of the District Disabled Empowerment Officer.
