Seeing the trailer of this film released on May 1, there was a lot of expectations among the audience, but the film’s performance at the box office has been very disappointing. The film could not even earn just Rs 4 crore in 4 days of release.
According to Sacnilk’s report, the film ‘The Bhootni’ collected only Rs 86 lakh on Saturday, while on Sunday the film earned a little better and earned Rs 1.2 crore. Overall, the film has been able to do a business of only Rs 3.33 crore so far. It is estimated that the film’s earnings in week days may fall further.
According to media reports, about Rs 50 crore was spent in the production of this film. Apart from Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Singh, Mouni Roy, and Palak Tiwari are also in lead roles in the film’s star cast.
Along with Sanjay Dutt’s ‘The Bhootni’, Ajay Devgan’s film ‘Red 2’ was also released, which has performed brilliantly at the box office. ‘Red 2’ has earned Rs 72.31 crore in four days.
