Constable Munir Ahmed, the constable of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), has been dismissed from service due to violation of service rules. He married a Pakistani woman, but did not inform the concerned authorities about this. In addition, this marriage was completed without any official approval. Hence strict action has been taken against him and he has been removed from service due to violating rules.

Munir Ahmed married Pakistani citizen Meenal Khan about two and a half months ago. After marriage, Meenal Khan came to India on a visiting visa and later applied for a long -term visa. However, she remained in India even after her visa ended on 22 March 2025. After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, the Indian government ordered Pakistani citizens to leave the country. In this background, Meenal Khan was interviewed for a long -term visa. When she was on the Attari-Wagah border, her petition was heard on the same day in the Jammu and Kashmir High Court. He was sent back across the border following a temporary order issued by the court.

Speaking to news agency ANI, Ankush Sharma, a lawyer of Pakistani citizen Meenal Khan in Jammu, said that Meenal is currently in India. He said, “CRPF constable Munir Ahmed was married to Pakistani citizen Meenal Khan. She came to India on a visiting visa and then applied for a long -term visa.”

Application for long -term visa
Sharma further said, “In the order issued by the Government of India after the Pahalgam terror attack, two categories of people were exempted – one diplomatic visa holder and the other long -term visa holder. Meenal was in the final stages of the long -term visa process and had also given the final interview. A positive recommendation was also sent to the Ministry of Home Affairs for approval. Was.”

Ankush Sharma said, “A petition was filed in the Jammu and Kashmir High Court and the hearing was held. The court passed the interim order. After that she was sent back to Jammu. She reached Jammu at around 3 am yesterday morning.” The CRPF has dismissed the soldier Munir Ahmed from service for hiding his marriage to a Pakistani woman.
